TOM POCKLEY woodturning
'I have been blessed by a second career as a professional woodturner which has lasted for over half the length of my first. My experience as a Chemistry teacher laid a good foundation for teaching woodturning. I enjoy teaching on a one-to-one basis (or two people if they come together).
I like to do a wide variety of types of turning both as a production turner and in bowls, vessels and sculptural forms for galleries and shows. Recent production turning has included very large spheres, long spindles and small things like knitting needles'.
