I have come to stone sculpture through many paths, textiles, photography, print making, wax resist paintings, charcoal.....I feel they were all paths of many a hue leading me to this one of stone. And what stones....fruit opal from Zimbabwe, alabaster, soap stone, Maltese stone....such delights.'
