ANNE HILL contemporary jewellery
After completing the Foundation course at Falmouth College of Art, I then went on to the University of Brighton, and graduated with 3D Crafts BA (Hons) in 2001.
I became involved in using re-cycled copper wire for sculpture, but soon needed to work in colour, and began using enamelled coloured wire, which then inspired me to move on to making jewellery.
Ideas for my work are derived from the beautiful fairytale illustrations from the early 1900’s, and organic forms - seaweed, water, trees.
I love trying out unusual and sometimes challenging colour combinations which make my jewellery unique.
