In May 1999 we opened up our house to the public for the first time and showed the work of nine other artists and makers along with my own as part of Brighton's extraordinary grass-roots festival. Now as The Dog House we open each May. We aim for a mixture of returning and entirely new guest artists, and our emphasis is always on freshness and innovation..... Karen Barratt
